For Traveling, Pittsburgh a ‘Super’ City

The Super Bowl will take place in a week, and the rowdy fans of Pittsburgh, Pa., are preparing for another trip to the big stage. The Pittsburgh Steelers will make their eighth trip to the Super Bowl and look to win their seventh NFL championship.

While the temperatures are chilly, the atmosphere is red hot in the city. Known for its blue-collar environment, Pittsburgh is the second-largest city in Pennsylvania – behind Philadelphia – with an estimated population of 312,000. Downtown Pittsburgh is known as the “Golden Triangle,” which is bounded by the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River, which joined forms the Ohio River. Overlooking the district around dawn has proven to be a beautiful scene.

Pittsburgh’s economy has thrived on its steel industry, but technology also plays a major role in the city’s success. The city also has an excellent entertainment industry, which includes multiple fine dining facilities, star-studded concerts, exquisite museums and fine arts exhibitions and all kinds of attractions for people of all ages. Pittsburgh, in addition, is home to one of the Rivers Casino, one of only a handful of licensed casinos in Pennsylvania.

The city will be highlighted by its beloved Steelers for the next couple of weeks, as they prepare for the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, Texas. The city is planning multiple viewing parties and pep rallies, as well as company discounts throughout the city for wearing Steelers paraphernalia.
